About Soup and Therapy
Soup and Therapy guides and empowers clients to imagine and cultivate new and exciting possibilities in their lives. Dr. Faye Reimers, PhD, inspires, challenges, advocates for and collaborates with clients to guide them in rediscovering their strengths and their purpose. Soup and Therapy specializes in recovery related to both substance and process addictions, along with holistic healing from the core issues, unresolved trauma, and codependency, that contribute to addiction and many other relational and mental health issues. Her therapeutic goal is to help clients discover a life of self-care, freedom, and peace.
Clients can choose from varied diversity affirming relational healing modalities offered by the clinicians of Soup and Therapy, such as individual, couples, family, and small group therapy sessions. Soup and Therapy also offers a unique therapeutic recovery opportunity which sets us apart from many other providers. The transformational journey offers accelerated healing through an immersive 4+-day retreat. Using evidence-based interventions and innovative experiential therapies, the emphasis of the healing work is on the mind-body connection, challenging limiting beliefs, and developing a loving relationship with themselves.
Faye believes that therapeutic change occurs through the development of mutually empathic connections. As clients choose to take risks, an authentic presence and sense of belonging develops, lending courage to be imperfect, vulnerable and to be seen. The process of compassionate exploration and helping clients to relearn how to honor and value the sacred within allows clients to begin to rebuild confidence, a sense of worthiness and reclaim joy in their lives. As Soup and Therapy celebrates 5 years of helping clients take back their life, they are grateful to their clients, colleagues, and the strong recovery communities in North Texas and beyond for their ongoing support.
